Rob Brown Twilight Power Time Trial

Power Boat Time Trial held at Twilight. A test of accuracy rather than concentrating on speed. Boats are required to arrive at a checkpoint at precisely the right time, based on your nominated speed. A one-point penalty is applied for every second that a boat is early or late at each checkpoint. Your team will comprise of a skipper and a navigator with a nominated speed of either 5, 6, 7 or 8 knots.

 

 Flags & prizes awarded to First Place, Second Place & Third Place with many door prizes also up for grabs for those who participate.

Named after our Senior Vice Patron, Life Member & Retired Commodore, Rob Brown, this will be a fantastic evening out on the water participating in some healthy competition.

 

As this is a night event there are certain regulations that will need to be adhered to;

- Ensure your vessel navigation lights are in working order and used after sunset

- Have a decent spot light on your vessel

- You are encouraged to use chart plotters to ensure you know where you are at, at all times
